The foster carer can complete a scale about their relationship with the child, and their mental health and level of stress as a caregiver, so that you can recognise when support is required - far ahead of the placement breaking down. There is also an additional easy-to-complete scale to gather the voice of the young person (suitable for children aged 11+) - so that you can understand their perspective on their care and how their life is going. For young people aged 15+ we also offer an assessment of life skills and readiness for independence to help ensure that every child is ready to leave care, and you can provide the right support into adulthood.
